So my pill popping,
frozen peas, sleep for 12 hours days are numbered! I'm officially on the road
to recovery. Well I've been on it since I hurt my entire left lower body as of
June 7th, then reinjured it on my bike ride June 11th. I have been in so much pain
from my left ankle, up my calf, behind my knee, up the side of my thigh,
wrapping around through the gluteus maximus to end at my left hip. And when I
say pain, I don't mean, oh i did too many squats and I can shake it off in two
days. I mean, pain reliever, bags of frozen peas, frozen water bottles (feel
amazing on the calf and back of knee), icy hot, bengay, tigerblam,
turmeric oil (anti-inflammatory), muscle relaxer, tylenol, and ibruprofen have
been my best friends for the past week and a half. But I am so happy that I
jumped out of bed this morning and didn't tumble over into my armoire. Wheww..
I did that for sooo many days. I don't know if I'm more excited about my leg
healing or the fact that I'll be ready to ride my gsxr soon!!
I hate pills. So much
that most of my vitamins are either powder or liquid. I have very few pills I
take and I try to get lozenges for my vitamins if I can lol. So this wasn't
just dealing with my injured leg, it was dealing with taking pills. I don't know
how pill popping junkies do it! I am so paranoid the pill is going to get stuck
in my throat. Has anybody ever seen the size of an ibruprofen 800! Horse
pill... literally. I almost gag every time.
I have a new respect for
old people or disabled who can't walk fast. I will never again complain. I will
simply go around you. It was tough! But almost through!! Can't wait to ride!!!!
Iced

pain.
