Riding the Oranges and Apples
Long day at work. Not a hard day but just a long in regards to the time it felt like forever just to get to lunch time. But I was excited to get off of work because it was finally going to be a hot day without the rain that was sucking up earlier in the week. My baby was locked up all week, so i was so happy to pull her out of the garage. After meeting up with Rider M... meeting Rider T we rode to east orange then south orange. While he was running through South Orange I didn't realize how nice it was out there. I felt like a tourist. Fortunately rider m was leading so i didnt have to do much thinking just riding. The area was new to me...but im always up for riding and learning new areas. As we rode i had to laugh as the looks we were getting from people as if we were escorting the President lol. The stares, the pointing... lol hilarious. Wasnt sure if they were staring at our bikes or us. Im sure i wasnt looking my best but im sure the rhinestones on the bike warranted a second glance .. i stare at my own bike lol
Rider T was riding behind us... he was our body guard lol although somehow cars still tried to cut him off as if he was invisible smh some drivers you just want to throw a brick at their car.. hmm if only it was legal and i had a place to hide the brick lol on the the ride it looked like we were running right through the mountains ... gorgeous views looking left and right didn't realize the oranges was so big out here in New Jersey.... managed to ride thru the potholes the size of apples... noone fell off their bike lol.. saw a deer on the side of the road but it didnt seem to have any intentions of coming on our road so it just looked pretty from afar. As we turned around Turtles zoo park eventually I think we came about to the verona/ west orange area and pulled into Eagles Park. The view was amazing as usual I haven't been there in few years but I remember now how gorgeous it is... it was nice to ride with folks who simply like to ride.....
Getting more comfortable on my gsxr600.. but still need to ride more. They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away...welltoday i had my apple and ran thru all the Oranges. .. east, south and west.... good ride!
