Riding the Oranges and Apples

Long day at work. Not a hard day but just a long in regards to the time it felt like forever just to get to lunch time. But I was excited to get off of work because it was finally going to be a hot day without the rain that was sucking up earlier in the week. My baby  was locked up all week, so i was so happy to pull her out of the  garage. After meeting up with Rider M... meeting Rider T we rode to east orange then south orange. While he was running through South Orange I didn't realize how nice it was out there. I felt like a tourist. Fortunately rider m was leading so i didnt have to do much thinking just riding. The area was new to me...but im always up for riding and learning new areas. As we rode i had to laugh as the looks we were getting from people as if we were escorting the President lol. The stares, the pointing... lol hilarious. Wasnt sure if they were staring at our bikes or us. Im sure i wasnt looking my best but im sure the rhinestones on the bike warranted a s...

Winter blows but so does the rain...

I love warm weather... so much that if I had a job offer on the west coast I would sell everything on craigslist and get on the first flight out of here. Winter blows. You can't ride your bike, your car is constantly dirty from the snow/salt, everyone walks around all depressed because the only time we see the sun is when we're looking out our windows at work. You head to work and it's dark, you leave work and it's dark. You have so many layers on that even if you decided to ride your bike year round.. you would feel like a puff ball marshmallow! Well I do. Today was beautiful! It was 86 degrees! Burning up on my gsxr600 and loving how shiny it gleams when the sun hit it. I put up a craigslist ad looking for another biker to ride with on whatever days our schedules match up and got a huge amount of responses. I was so relieved to see that I wasn't the only one that was looking for someone to ride short distance with and just shoot the breeze with. Unfortunately, s...
